We welcome a challenge. We put our skill, resolve, and tenacity to work from beginning to end and never let up. We roll up our sleeves and create solutions that meet both our clients’ needs and our high standards.
We do all this because we value our partnerships—we want to make you look good, and create a product that we can stand behind 100%.
Our engineer-focused design doesn’t just build a better system; it anticipates issues before they can arise in the field, saving time and money.
Our commitment to quality and efficiency extends to the environment: We use energy wisely, and we reduce waste at each step of the process.
Safety is always a primary concern for us. We take the initiative to improve worker safety by continually examining and improving our process.
Our health, pay, labor and training practices show the care that we offer our team, and we strive to positively impact our community in the same way.
As great as the management team is, the field staff is just as fabulous: smart, pleasant, and they take time with the customer—
just wonderful to work with.
Century will always call back …
even at 8:30 at night …
and they’re always responsive to
our comments or issues …
Century doesn’t point fingers;
they stand up and take care of it.
Century can come in and save the day after someone else screws something up.
Rick started in the HVAC business at 16, working in the warehouse of his father’s company. He has held nearly every position, from truck driver to installation mechanic to service technician to CEO. Rick was President and owner of Falso Heating, which he eventually sold to a major HVAC manufacturer. After a few years working for the larger enterprise, Rick got the entrepreneurial itch and formed Century. Rick uses his vast experience to design HVAC systems specific to his clients’ needs and budget. He has a knack for taking projects that are seemingly over-budget and
offering solutions that reduce cost without compromising performance.
Dave thrives on working with people, and finding a solution to the unexpected problems that inevitably arise. Before starting Century, Dave worked at Falso Heating, running their commercial department. Looking to expand into his own venture, Dave talked his management team into starting a new business, which became Century. Here, he has the tools and methods available to solve everything from systems problems to budgetary issues. Clients find him fair and responsive, and he considers integrity to be the most valuable trait in his work.
Like his father, Jason began his career in HVAC at an early age, as a sheet metal worker and system installation technician. He then made a career shift; he earned his CPA license and became a senior accountant for Testone, Marshall & Discenza, LLP. At Century, his unique combination of analytical and management skills as well as hands-on industry experience, gives him the unique ability to assess a project and ensure maximum efficiency in both project and operational management. As a natural problem solver, he takes pride in resolving client issues quickly, no matter the time of day.
Pierre has been with Century from the beginning. He brings an incredible sense of continuity, not just with his own strong work ethic, but with the repeat business he’s able to help Century cultivate. Pierre has extensive on-site experience, works closely with his customers, and knows the industry inside and out. He excels in coordinating multiple projects, and loves hearing that a customer wants to work with him again. Pierre prides himself on his ability to produce neat, clean work that meets his high standard of excellence.
Patrick brings over 30 years of accounting experience to Century, with 20 years as a controller and 15 in the HVAC industry. He believes that the relationships within Century are what make it a great company, and he facilitates those relationships by providing his co-workers with the information they need. Patrick is a constant, diligent presence at Century, and the timely, accurate information flow that he provides helps Century meet our clients’ needs.
Professionalism is Curt’s watchword, and it’s a quality he’s developed over 30 years of work with CEO Rick Iorio. Curt works largely with other owners, and his goal has always been to coordinate projects in a way that meets completion dates without compromising quality. He prefers to work on-location at construction sites, ensuring quality control every step of the way.
We believe that by working together, by offering our time, our talent and our financial support, we can help make our community a better place to live, work and play. That is why we proudly support initiatives that support Central New York.
